Corvera Airport Bus Service
The bus service of the Región de Murcia International Airport has been officially presented by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez. There will be bus routes to connect different points of the region with the airport. One of those lines will be Mazarrón-Águilas with stops in Puerto de Mazarrón (Avenida Doctor Meca next to Mercadona), Mazarrón (Avenida de la Constitución) and Camposol.
 
Purchase of bus tickets can be made via the Internet, through the Interbús website www.interbusmurcia.es
 
The Minister of Development and Infrastructure reported that the prices of bus tickets, have been reduced, in order to make travel more attractive and to increase the occupancy of vehicles. In addition, sustainable transport is encouraged to avoid traffic congestion in tourist areas during the summer months.
A single fare to Murcia and Cartagena is 5€, as well as to the golf courses of La Torre, Terrazas, Mar Menor and Serena.

The bus fare to: Cabo de Palos, La Manga, La Manga Club, Roda Golf, Condado de Alhama, Hacienda del Álamo, Camposol, San Pedro, Lo Pagan, San Javier, Los Narejos and Los Alcázares is 10€.

To Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón is 12€ and 15€ to Águilas.

Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th May – IV La Isla Fun Fest
This fun and leisure event returns to Puerto de Mazarrón with lots of outdoor activities, including swimming, sports on the beach, an exhibition of classic vehicles, children’s attractions, Ibicencan fair, food trucks and music by Camela, Los Happys and Nito Rock Band.

The mayor, Alicia Jiménez thanked the clubs, associations and companies that collaborate in the organization of an event that has become a benchmark for leisure in the Region of Murcia. Among the novelties, there will be Clear Kayak, an activity that combines snorkelling and beach cleaning.

The Bahia de Mazarrón Regatta will once again coincide with this event on the same weekend.

Every Saturday in May – Guided Visit Museum Of The Tower Of Santiago
The museum is divided into five levels. The first level hosts the chapter house that refers to the lands of Totana to the Order of Santiago. The second level is the choir of the church, which shows the Mudejar coffered ceiling of the temple and the explanation of its chapels. The next level is known as ‘the bride’s room’, which was the old house of the bell ringer, where the old clock of the tower is shown. The fourth level is not accessible as it contains the current clock.
