A programme of visits about the history and the cultural activity of consistorial houses of schools, institutes and a day centre in Mazarrón has been organised by the Department of Culture and Education. Students will learn about the local cultural heritage and about authors and illustrators Juan Álvarez and Jorge Gómez and the painter Nono Garcí.
From now until Wednesday March 21st approximately 300 children of 4th Primary from 10 schools in the municipality will learn about the history of the buildings and they will take part in a fun comic workshop with the illustrators Juan Álvarez and Jorge Gómez.
The Alzheimer’s Unit with people with intellectual disabilities from the Mazarron Day Centre will also visit the historic Mazarrón buildings, as well as a creative expression workshop by María Juliana Raja and painting on glass by Vanesa Castillo.
VI Trade Route until December 21st
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Association of Merchants of Mazarrón y Comarca (ACOMA), they will raffle a Mediterranean cruise for two people for customers who make purchases in some of the 46 associated establishments participating this year’s VI Route of Commerce.
To carry out the route and be eligible for the draw, customers must buy from four different stores and complete the form that can be purchased at any of the participating stores. The form will be delivered to the establishment where they obtain the last stamp. The draw will take place on December 21st at 10pm at the headquarters of ACOMA. The all-inclusive cruise is valued at 1,400€ and is for two people and may be taken in March or April 2018.
gAstrogAllo 2.2.
Experts from the hotel and restaurant industry has selected the establishments to participate in gAstrogAllo 2.2. There are eleven tapas and two pastry cafés/bars that will offer their best culinary creations in this event, which will take place in the Cresta del Gallo building in Mazarrón between December 6th and 10th.
