Exhibition – The Only Reality is the Truth @ The Nicomedes Gómez Subjective Room, City Hall (until 10th November)
The young Eva Martínez, from Cartagena is artistically known as Kbrevag. The exhibition collects different digital collages seeking the viewer’s analysis of present social problems.

Exhibition – Nosferatu by Juan Ros (until 10th January)
Casablanca, Blue Velvet, Los Pájaros and Moby Dick inspired the multidisciplinary artist Juan Ros. Around 40 works with different techniques such as digital prints, watercolour and acrylics on different surfaces, can be seen in the Loft 113 Gallery in Murcia and in the El Batel auditorium in Cartagena. Juan Ros is a multidisciplinary artist from Cartagena. Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Valencia, he is a singer of the folk-punk group Malezas and currently works as an art teacher at IES Isaac Peral in Cartagena.

This event is for environmental protection, awareness and action projects in the Sierra de la Muela as a Natural Area.
The route of about 15km will run mostly through the Sendero del Agua de Galifa PR-MU116:
15km trail – Trail Tour FAMU (TTF) 2020-2021, the Championship of the Region of Murcia (max 150 contestants)
9km & 5.4km for the younger contestants – Championship of the Region of Murcia for the Promotion of Trail (max 50 contestants)

Classical Concerts in Museums @ Museum of the Roman Theatre
Tuesday 9th November – 4TANIT –
Astor Piazzolla was born in Argentina on 11th March 1921 and on 1st November 2020, the great Spanish composer, pedagogue and saxophonist Pedro Iturralde died. The music of these two composers flood our lives and we are deeply grateful for it. This recital, starring musicians from Cartagena, will pay tribute to these two great figures of music.
Saturday 13th November – Mamen Baños & Grupo, dancer and choreographer Mamen Baños from Cartagena presents her new show ‘Flamenc-Arte’, in collaboration with a large group of musicians and flamenco with Daniel Asís.
Thursday 18th November – Quarteto Concordis made up of four Portuguese guitarists based on Fado and Brazilian music. They have recently released their album ‘Encontros’.
Friday 3rd December – The Emperor’s New Suit by Compañía Ferroviaria @ Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Centre. 3€ 6.30pm

Friday 10th December – Wind Quintet Qart Hadast is made up of Cartagena’s Alicia Burgos, Delia Bastida, Jennifer García, Pedro J Maciá and Carlos J Lillo, professors from the Region of Murcia who combine teaching and musical activity in orchestras. The programme will go on a journey through different places, cultures and times, performing a variety of works such as Agay’s ‘Five Easy Dances’, Ibert’s works, as well as popular classics, Scott Joplin’s ‘Entertainer’ and ‘Ritual Dance of Fire’ by Manuel de Falla.
Saturday 11th December – Finn Svit Duo a Danish duo formed by Rikke Petersen on flute and Finn Elias Svit on guitar, performing works by Bach, Grieg, Nielsen, Piazzola and others. Rikke Petersen trained as a music artiste at the Det Fynske Music Academy and at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, where he won the final degree of honour award. Finn Elias Svit trained at the Nordisk Musik Konservatorium in Aalborg (Denmark), where he graduated in classical guitar with the highest marks.
Saturday 18th December – Sergio Arqués & Alberto Arqués Duo from Cartagena who came 2nd in the ‘Between Strings and Metals’ competition in 2017, present a wide repertoire for two cellos which range from the Baroque to the 20th century, passing by Classicism and Romanticism.
The entrance is free but reservations are essential as places are limited. Entry from 8pm.
