Monday 12th June – El Viejo Varieté end of course classroom workshop of Teatro El Desván @ Luzzy Cultural Centre 7.30pm
Around an old cabaret, the lives of its actors wander. Around an old cabaret there is envy, resentment, ‘climbing’, unrequited love, lost illusions… In this final year project, 14 scenes with their different characters take us to the unknown side when the curtain closes or when the venue is closed. Characters, victims of their own destinies, worn out by the passing of time with an expiration date, try to cling to a torn old curtain so as not to fall into oblivion. Who struggles to overcome an always uncertain future?
The charity play is in favour of Ukrainian refugees. Representation by Aula Taller Teatro del Desván. Dramaturgy and direction by José Salguero. The JUAN CARRIÓN Foundation and the Association of the Ukrainian Community of Cartagena GROMADA collaborate.

Saturday 17th June – Don Quixote en Los Infiernos @ New Circus Theatre 7.30pm
An old man suffering from Alzheimer’s thinks he is Don Quixote. His caretaker will try to help him remember his own life, playing along with him. As the friendship between the two develops, we discover that nothing is what it seems in this game of theatre within the theatre, a whole maze of identities and false memories. A roller coaster of emotions, between the most absurd comedy and the most human and deep pain.
