Medieval Dinners at the Castillo de la Concepción in Cartagena Port of Cultures – from 12th July & 6th Sept
Friday 12th July 12 at night, torches will light up and illuminate the Castillo de la Concepción where actors will participate in a moment of history as if we were back 600 years, returning to the end of the Middle Ages. This is a very special way of showing the Renaissance, where Cartagena and the port rejoins the crown of Castile.

Catholic Monarchs, Isabel and Fernando, accompanied by their court of Jews and Muslims, will unveil real events that took place in the city’s port. There will be cooking demonstrations, where the presentation and preparation make us travel back in time. 60 people will be seated around wooden tables where you can see the sea and the magnificent illuminated tower. Artisan breads with potatoes, fish, sausages and a great variety of cheeses with fruits and hummus from different places of the Mediterranean will be on offer and main courses of grilled ribs, pork leg etc. Delicious desserts will be accompanied, as in the Middle Ages, by good wine or beer. 55€. 9.30pm.
