Exhibition El Sueño @ The National Museum of Underwater Archaeology of Cartagena ARQVA (until 26th January)

Learn about the first round the world by boat by Fernando de Magallanes and Juan Sebastián Elcano. You can find travel books, scenarios and reproductions of the adventure that Elcano and Magellan undertook. It also reflects the entrepreneurial nature of the expedition between 1518 and 1519. 

XXIII String and Brass Competition byDepartment of Youth and the Conservatory of Music of CartagenaDepartment of Youth will be held on April 30th in the Isidoro Máiquez Hall of the Auditorium and Congress Hall El Batel.

Friday 3rd January – A Roscón de Reyes will be supported by the COPE Chain. You can taste it from 7pm in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Cartagena.

Saturday 4th January @ Video Mapping sponsored by Repsol in the Town Hall Square from 7.30pm.

Sunday 5th January 11.30am sees the Arrival Of The Magi By Boat to the Port of Cartagena. In the Town Hall Square, they will be welcomed with music and inflatables. At 6.30pm the Three Kings’ Cavalcade will begin a tour the centre of Cartagena. 

Artisan Market (until January 6th) @ the central promenade of the Alameda de San Antón. 10am-2pm & 4pm-10pm (12 midnight on January 5th) 15 stalls with handicrafts, jewellery and artisan items.

Saturday 11th JanuaryThe Acrobatic Circus of China will perform with seventeen different acrobatic performances in the love story of a young man and his phoenix princess. 

 Friday 24th January – Miguel Maldonado and Facu Díaz return with a new Comedy Show that gathers and expands the alternative and critical spirit with which they have been working together for more than five years in ‘Do Not Get Into Politics’.

The New Tour is a show of originality and freshness, with a mixture of the political and frivolous. 

Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th February -musical‘Jekyll & Hyde’ offers extraordinary musical intrigue that delves into the primary duality of man and the struggle between reason and instinct, between good and evil that inhabits each one of us. 4.30pm

Saturday 15th (5pm) & Sunday 16th (12pm) February – musical ‘Annie’, a spectacular production of the successful Broadway musical, which returns with a formula never seen before in Spain, but in which its unforgettable melodies should not be missing, including ‘Tomorrow’. A show for the enjoyment of the whole family.

Saturday 14th March – Freddie Mercury supporters are in luck because to close the programme, they will enjoy ‘Rhapsody of Queen’; a new international show with Queen’s best known songs, with four international singers, a great rock band and powerful staging. The public will undoubtedly enter a new dimension full of magic that they will never forget.

Thursday 23rd – Sunday 26th January Circlassic – a story of Emilio Aragón; a family show in which he wanted to pay tribute to all those artists who one day dared to dream. A show where funambulistas, trapeze artistes and jugglers will perform in the magical world of the circus. 

Friday 7th February – the laughs will return with Santi Rodríguez , who will present ‘Infarction. Don’t go to the light!’; a show based on the personal experience of the comedian when he suffered a heart attack to have the sense of humour that characterizes him in a hospital nightgown.

Saturday 8th February – more humour with ‘Pantomima Full’. In his head it was spectacular with this comic duo acting the stories of Roger Bodegas and Alberto Casado mocking the stereotypes of society.
