Parque Almansa in San Javier will be the starting point of the Costa Cálida Cycling Tour of the Region of Murcia – The Primafrio Grand Prix.

The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, is delighted to welcome back the race.  “I want to appeal to all the residents of San Javier and, especially to cycling lovers, to come to Almansa Park on February 11th, where the race will start.  There will be a great atmosphere and there will be activities before the start,”

The Murcia Region Bike Tour has a new patron. Primafrio, logistics operator for road transport of goods at controlled temperatures, will be the main reference sponsor of the race. The Primafrio Foundation organises the green patrols, which are responsible for collecting waste after the race and providing the first cycling jersey made with recycled products.
