Wow, 2022 seems to be flying by, it’s March already. Our phonelines this year have, once again, been busy, we received over 200 contacts in the month of January. Our dedicated team of listeners continue to provide their time to ensure that this invaluable service can continue.
Our charity shop in the Punta Marina Mall in Punta Prima has also started the year well, with ever increasing footfall we hope that this continues. Our shop volunteers can be proud of what they are doing to help the organisation. If you have not yet visited us then maybe it is time you did, directions can be found on our website.
On the fundraising front January has been very quiet. Our President attended a talk at the Quesada Ladies Club, she was the guest speaker. On the day they raised an amazing €117.18 as a donation for us. If you would like to have a guest speaker at an event that you are holding, then please do contact us and we would be delighted to send a representative.
For those of you in need of offloading, or if you know someone who needs to offload, Samaritans in Spain lines are manned from 10am – 10pm every day of the year and our fully trained listeners are available if you need to talk.
