Bi-lingual Evangelical Church in Fuente Alamo
In this modern world, pressures, demands, expectations and tasks to be achieved can seem to press in on us from all sides. They may come from family, friends, employers, school, church or clubs, or they may be self-imposed. There always seems to be a need to come here, be there, do this, do that, answer this or finish that. It seems as though everyone wants something from us until we reach the point where we run out of energy and time. We find ourselves rushing through life, trying to please everybody and giving all our attention to what we think is necessary, immediate or urgent. The truly important is all too often overlooked!
The problem is not the volume of demands on our lives or our lack of organisation. The problem is that we don’t get our priorities right and don’t attach enough value to what is truly important to us. Often what we perceive as being important is something that could be put on the back boiler for a while to make way for what really matters in life. Our values and priorities are shown by how we use the resources we have; our time, our money, our physical ability and our talents.
Many of us like to say that God is number one in our lives, but when it comes down to it, we relegate Him to a lower position on our ‘Jobs To Do’ list.
No matter what is going on in your life, make time for God.
He loves you.
He wants the very best for you.
He will always be there for you.
God doesn’t take a siesta!
If you feel that you would like to know more about God and would like an opportunity to bring Him into your life, why not join us on Sunday morning? You are assured of a very warm welcome from people of many nationalities who are full of fun. We gather together to have a great time of fellowship in the presence of the Lord.
