At the time of writing this month’s article, we are once again able to hold our Sunday morning services in Church and are observing all the advice on social distancing, hand sanitising and the wearing of masks. In addition we have been able to purchase equipment to sanitise the building after each meeting. We are doing all we can to keep people safe. The regulations may change at any time and they mean that numbers are limited, so please contact us if you would like to join us. We would love to welcome you.
The COVID-19 pandemic has left many of us with a lot of spare time on our hands as we try to do our bit by staying at home and spending less time socialising.
How good are you at managing your time?
Are you in control, or does time manage you?
Is the pandemic giving you too much time to sit around and worry; to become anxious about where all this is going?
Why not spend a little of this new-found spare time doing something that may change your life for ever?
How about finding time for God?
I want to encourage you just to spend a little time with your Heavenly Father.
Why not pick up your Bible (can you remember where it is?) and read a couple of verses. If you don’t have one, Google one, or maybe find a quiet corner and to sit and think about Him. Take time to pray.
Remember that prayer is a two way street, so also take time to listen.
Spending time with God gives a peace that brings calm, love that brings forgiveness, wisdom that brings confidence and faith that brings hope.
More than ever in these difficult times we all need His affirmation and love.
We need His instruction and guidance.
We need His discernment and wisdom, all of which He freely gives if we just choose to spend a little time with Him.
Time spent with the Lord is time well spent.
I know that it’s often much easier to pick up the remote control than to pick up your Bible, but just remember that how you spend the next few minutes could change the whole direction of your day.
Make time for God. It could change your life for ever!
At the time of writing our Sunday morning services start at 11am, but are subject to change, so please give us a call. Our Sunday morning services are held at Calle Espinar 13, Fuente Alamo.
