Hello Ladies
We had a busy February getting back together after our break and enjoying the various activities, including a very interesting and informative talk from Betty Hill on Prison Life; not only Betty and her husband Stewart, but also family members have frequented various prisons around the United Kingdom, but only in a working capacity, (just in case anyone should get the wrong idea!)
The Bring and Buy afternoon followed by Bingo was entertaining and the winners went home happy and richer.
We had a great first trip to IKEA and then onto the Nueva Condomina where we were left to sort out our own lunch arrangements at one of the many restaurants. We spent our time happily shopping at the different venues before our homeward journey.
Then we had a visit from Oasis Fashions from Mojácar who brought us a great selection of Spring/Summer clothing, jewellery and accessories. Many of us spent a lovely afternoon trying on various items of clothing before purchasing them. Thanks to the staff for all their assistance.
March so far has been a lovely month weather-wise as we got to bask in the sun. Hopefully it will continue into Easter and the rest of April.
New members are always welcome to come along on a Thursday afternoon to the Playa Grande, to see what we are about and have a chat.
