Spring is definitely in the air so perhaps it’s time to brush off all that rain and dreariness of winter, by volunteering at PAPS, near El Mirador?

We were so happy to welcome some new volunteers recently but there can never be too many hands to help our dogs.

There’s normally a fun Pamper Day in the early part of each month, when dogs are coiffed (they love the fuss!), manicured (some not so keen!), and given their anti-parasite treatments.

Then they get their treats … when they promise to love their helpers forever!! But seriously, new pamperers are always welcome – please keep an eye out on our FB Page: Support Abandoned Dogs/PAPS in Spain, or e-mail us for information on future dates.

A new “resident” has arrived in our foster kennels that has real star-quality.

Lisa is a very beautiful, pedigree Border Collie, born 26/10/20. She hasn’t had much training to speak of and while quite good on a lead, finds straight lines a problem, but as she’s extremely smart she won’t take much time to learn new skills. Sadly she doesn’t even know how to play but is starting to take an interest in a ball.

Hasn’t been cat-tested. We don’t think that she’s had much affection in her short life, as she loves attention and cuddles.

Lisa is a very special girl, BUT as a Border Collie will need a special new mum or dad who will understand her requirements in terms of quality exercise and suitable stimulation.

Lisa will make a really super, loving companion for the right person … form an orderly queue, please! For information about Lisa, or any other topic, please e-mail us
