As the weather continues to heat up, sadly dogs continue to be abandoned, ending up sweltering in shelters. While our A-Team of lovely puppies is spoken for, PAPS still has many other dogs, some of which would be suitable to both ends of the owner-spectrum – those with the energy to handle more energetic dogs and the people who would just like a gentle, quiet companion to potter around with.
For the more energetic, we have the very handsome German Shepherd boy, Jake, (born 22/03/19) who was given up when his family was repatriated to the UK, when they could not afford to take him. Adopted by them at 4 months, he is house-trained and has lived with 2 older children, but sadly the family didn’t spend enough time on his training so a new owner would need to be experienced and prepared to work with him to bring his manners up to scratch.
For those who just want a more quiet life, poor Pipi is 8 years old and was surrendered with his 3 buddies when their owners lost their home. We would really love to find this mature gent a loving home for the rest of his life.
