As I write this article, we are already a third of the way through August. Most of the time it is uncomfortably hot, so we tend to stay indoors a lot of the time and only go out when really necessary, so not a lot different from when we were in enforced lockdown really.

I know there were a lot of people looking forward to meeting up with friends and family who were expected to come over from the UK, but due to the new very strict quarantine regulations in force in the UK, a large number, from what I have read on social media, have had to cancel their long awaited visits.

As I say; a bit like enforced lockdown really nothing much has changed.
Someone else who never changes is God as it says in Hebrews 13 verses 5 to 9

5 “Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said,
“I will never fail you.
I will never abandon you.”
6 So we can say with confidence,
“The LORD is my helper,
so I will have no fear.
What can mere people do to me?”
7 Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God.
Think of all the good that has come from their lives
and follow the example of their faith.
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
9 So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas.
Your strength comes from God’s grace.
Verse 8 is the one I would draw your attention to.
Jesus is the only constant in this world of inconsistencies.

Ask Him to come into your heart and to be your Saviour and believe me change will happen and you will no longer feel that you are locked down.

God Bless you all
