As I sit writing this article, we are in the first few days of August and it is at times unbearably hot here in Spain. This is the time when we are advised to drink lots of fluids to avoid dehydration and to carry a bottle of water round with us.
It might surprise you to know that we humans can live for 28 days without food, but on average less than 4 days without water. Apart from losing water from the body in the usual ways, I was very surprised to find out that we lose moisture when we exhale.
Jesus said to the Samaritan woman at the well in John chapter 4 verses 13/14; “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again, but those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”
That is a wonderful gift from Jesus to never be thirsty again. Why not come and join us at our service on Sunday mornings at 10.30am at the Social Centre, Camposol B and find out more. You will be assured of a warm welcome at the Olive Branch Christian Fellowship.
