Seasons blessings to you all dear friends for a safe and happy Christmas and New Year

Luke 2 verses 11/12

There is born to you this day in the city of David, a Saviour who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign to you. You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

We have been blessed by the birth of our new grandson Cohan, at the time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ. Our little grandson was born in a warm and secure place, into a loving Christian family and we rejoice and give thanks for that. The child Jesus was born in a lowly stable next to the animals, born to a poor family Mary and Joseph, but we can celebrate this day by Keeping CHRIST in Christmas.

It is not about the gifts under the tree, but about the ONE who died ON the tree. He is the greatest gift of all. This gift grants you eternal life if you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

As you gather your friends and family together this Christmas, remember the true reason for the season. Amongst the tinsel and toys and the late night present wrapping, remember the Child who was born to die in your place.  Thank you Father for the babe in Bethlehem’s manger who has granted us all, the gift of eternal life.

God bless you all.
