Joy to the world, Christmas is almost here!
It’s a time of excitement and anticipation as we prepare to celebrate the hope that is found in the birth of Jesus, but where there is great joy and hope, there can also be sorrow and disappointment due to all the sadness that surrounds families kept apart by the current restrictions.
Let us all take time this Christmas to consider each other, our neighbours and loved ones who may not be able to celebrate with us this year. Fill your heart with a peace that reminds you of the reason for the season; the miracle of Jesus’s birth. Take some time to rest and reflect on why you might be celebrating on December 25th in the first place.
Luke 2 v 11 – “Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
There was no room at the inn for our Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us remember all those who do not have a roof over their head this Christmas; those who are living on the street. Bless them all with your kindness and show them the true spirit of Christmas.
John 1:9-10 – “The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world and the world was made through Him…”
May we bless you and prayer for you and look forward to a better New Year.
Please pray for my Arthur who is still very ill in hospital as I write this today.
God bless you all dear family and friends.
