Kerry Henry was presented with a trophy for ‘most improved bowler’ which was well deserved.
For a bit of fun and to raise money for MABS, the local charity that Mazarrón Bowls Club is supporting this year, a certificate and cup was awarded to the member who bowled the most ‘wrong bias’. A 1€ fine each time one was bowled raised 97€. Di Morriss got the most points, so won it this year.

A raffle made 200€ for MABS, with several lovely prizes, including a voucher for a Sunday Lunch with a bottle of wine for two kindly donated by The Diner on Camposol B.
Bev Thompson from MABS joined us on 26th March to present the MABS Trophy to the winners. Mazarrón Bowls Club also presented Bev with a cheque for 600€ from our winter season fund raising.
Doug Macfarlane and Mike Rawle won the Kiwi Pairs game. Before the game started we had a Spider Drive where the winner won a voucher for a Fish and Chip Lunch for two, kindly donated by The Spaniard, Hacienda Del Alamo Golf Resort.
On Sunday 7th April we held a club game for a Ladies v Gents Trophy. The gents won 9-3! It was a nice fun game and we raised 77€ for MABS from the entrance fee, donations and monies raised from the football card and the Grand National Sweepstakes.
The new start time from now for the Tuesday and Thursday Roll Up is 10.00am for 10.30am. Our home rink is on the Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort, Fuente Alamo and we welcome you to come and join us and give bowling a go.
