Who Are The Lions and What Do They Do?
As a small club of just 19 members, Mazarrón Bahia Lions enjoy fund raising activities, meeting people and helping those in need. Our efforts have even exceeded clubs with many more members!
We are part of Lions Club International with more than 1.5 million members worldwide. The Lions were formed 100 years ago, although only 13 years ago in Mazarrón. It is the largest Non-Governmental Organisation in the world.
Lions are ordinary people, giving up some of their free time to help those in need. Our motto is ‘Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion’.
Mazarrón Bahia Lions is a small club and we are always on the lookout for new members to come and lend a hand where needed. Whether it be on the Table Top Sale or helping with our various events, there is always something that you can do to help. It is not all work though! We have a great social life and arrange Social Lunches at various restaurants. We like to try a different restaurant every month; a very good way of making new friends at the same time as trying different foods.

We are in urgent need of bric-a-brac and books for our stall, so please don’t forget us if you are having a clear-out. We can collect if needed.

Lions, friends and the general public can avail themselves of the loan of equipment such as Wheel Chairs, Bath Seats, Walking Frames, Crutches etc. from our Medical Loans department. All we ask for is a donation on return of the equipment. Please ring Pauline on 634 308 693
