At long last some fine weather! What about all that rain, thank goodness we can look forward to Summer. We hope you’re all keeping well.
Good news, we got a new volunteer! Hope he enjoys volunteering with us – he’s been a long time coming. However, we will always have to keep up the request for volunteers. We are so far behind with everything.
Richard isn’t able to get to Camposol for his weekly break to collect your donations and have a catch up. If you’re missing him he’s at the shop in the Port!

A Spanish lady came in and kitted out her two apartments with some very nice furniture, and that gave us a hugely needed boost particularly as we had an expensive request for assistance for a dear 14-year-old dog by the name of Canela. The much loved Canela was deteriorating in health, but her owners decided to take her to the vet. They thought she had a kidney problem. In fact she had an infected uterus. Paco immediately treated and spayed her and because of her age kept her in for a few nights under observation as it was touch and go. Thanks to fantastic veterinary care she pulled through and was able to go home. Come visit us Canela, lets meet up for a biscuit!
This is just one of the many urgencies we help each month. We couldn’t do it without you. Anything you have that you don’t need or use we would be so pleased to accept it and resell to raise funds. Bric-a-brac, clean clothes, bedding, books, pictures, furniture (give Richard a ring if it needs collecting) or small working electricals.
Call in and have a browse as there is so much in the shop.
