Christmas will have been and gone by the time you read this, so hopefully you managed to find some festive cheer after a pretty awful year. Here’s to a much healthier and happier 2021!

Talking of healthier and happier – I think one doggie named Curly will be feeling better after treatment for an infected uterus which bled very badly. A visit to the vets confirmed that an operation was needed immediately. As the cost was quite high, her distraught owner contacted us for help and in this situation and after consulting with the vet, we were able to arrange financial help straight away so the operation could go ahead. Happily our wonderful vet practice managed to save this lucky girl and she is now making a good recovery. You will soon be feeling great Curly. No doubt you were spoilt over Christmas with turkey and all the trimmings!
This situation has been tough on everyone’s finances, particularly the charities. We can only hope for some normality next year. We are still receiving great donations, so if you do feel like venturing out, the shop in Puerto de Mazarrón is packed to the gunnels with bargains galore!
Richard will be on the lower car park on Camposol B every Tuesday from 10am-12pm. He can take your donations such as small working electrical goods, clean clothes or bric-a-brac. If you have a larger donation, you could organise its collection with Richard.
I can’t close without my usual plea for volunteers! We are seriously short staffed and need some extra help. Please call in, email or phone if you think you could spare some time.
New Year Holidays
We will be closed over the festive season and will re-open on January 7th after Three Kings Day.
We here at MAMAS wish you all a wonderful and hopeful 2021.
Fingers crossed for an end to COVID-19.
