We are very busy in the shop and we would like to take this opportunity of thanking all our supporters for their donated items to enable us to continue supporting people in our community who are less fortunate and Make A Difference to many families. We would like to also thank Furniture Plus for continuing to donate furniture they take away from their clients when they buy new furniture from them. There is always a good supply of second-hand good quality settees and chairs in our shop in the Puerto de Mazarron.

The shop will close for the month of August this year and re-open in September. The van will also not be available for this time, so therefore the last Tuesday it will be at the Commercial Centre Sector A Urbanization Camposol will be on the 26th July and back there again on the 6th September.

The Harlequin Rock Choir raised over 600€ with the help of Camposol community which they donated and we purchased food, toiletries nappies etc which we took to the Ayuntamiento Ukraine Appeal and we received a heartfelt “thank you” to everyone who donated direct from the Ukrainian people for this much needed aid. We have also bought further food to the value of 1,351€ for this appeal. (see photos).

We have some projects to fund in the coming months and we will inform you of these over the next couple of months. We continue to help the San Jose Church with food on a monthly basis which they distribute via their Out Reach programme with Caritas the Catholic Church Aid Charity.
We would like to thank Kevin McAlister for his time and effort over the past few years in his capacity as our President. He has recently stepped down from that role but continues to volunteer, normally as the van driver or in the shop. Our new President is now Terry Francis, and we would like to thank him for stepping up and taking on this role. All our volunteers work hard to make this charity function and help Make A Difference to so many people in and around the Mazarron area.
