We are hopefully now out of lockdown, although we have to remain vigilant. We opened our shop in Puerto de Mazarrón on Tuesday 8th June, but during the lockdown many of our volunteers took the opportunity to tidy the shop and put into storage the bric-a-brac and electrical items we have had donated to us. This was done to comply with regulations as we would have had to sanitise every item that was touched. As you can imagine this would have been an impossibility, therefore for the time being we are selling furniture and clothing items only.
Our van volunteers have resumed their collection point for donations on Camposol A Commercial Centre as from last month and we thank you for your continued support.
We have donated 500€ of grocery items and nappies to the church in Puerto de Mazarrón. These will be distributed among those families most in need in the Puerto. This has been a trying time for us all, but for those already in need of assistance it has been even more difficult.
Our shop will be open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10.30am-1.00pm and our van will be at Camposol A Commercial Centre on Tuesdays at 10.30am-12.00pm.
