We are now into Spring and we have changed our clothing on our rails to summer garments.
We have continued with donating 1,000€ worth of food to Caritas who operate a Food Bank in the San Jose Church in Puerto de Mazarrón.
We are making an appeal for more furniture as we have now lost our regular supply by Furniture Plus who have recently closed. Our van will be on Camposol A Commercial Centre every Tuesday between 10.30am-12pm for any bagged donations. Our shop in Puerto de Mazarrón is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between 10am-1pm.
We will be closed on Saturday 8th April as it is Easter Saturday.
We would like to thank all our supporters for their continued support with donations, as without these items we would not be able to help those in need in our area.
We would also like to thank all our volunteers who give their time and effort to enable us to continue our Charity work in the community. We would especially like to thank both Sue and Terry Clarke who have recently resigned from the Charity. Terry has been our President and has done a splendid job. He was also one of our van drivers picking up and delivering bought items. Sue has been organizing the sorting of all donations we receive, so we would like to thank her and Terry for their effort over the past 7 years and wish them well for the future. They will be missed.
We were able to find a replacement President in Kevin McAlister and we thank him for stepping in and taking that responsibility.
