Thank you!

As always a big thank you to everyone that has donated, clothes, furniture, bric-a-brac, books etc to raise much-needed funds to support those who need our help.  Without you and all the volunteers who give up their time freely as workers in the shop, van workers, patient drivers, fund raisers, manning the helplines, and  reception at the MABS Respite Home, we couldn’t continue.

With your help in August we assisted with:

134 Appointments

112 Translations

51 Drives to hospital

5 loans of equipment

Volunteers Needed

We urgently need more volunteers to help out in our shop in Totana, as Fundraisers and to man the Helpline and as Drivers to drive patients to hospital appointments. The MABS car can be used, or if you use your own car expenses are paid. Pick up the patient from their home (possibly a translator as well) and take them to their appointment (often at Santa Lucia).  Give them your mobile number so they can call you when they are ready to go home.

If you can spare any time per week or month, we desperately need more people to help in any capacity.  Please phone 634 362 954, email mazvolunteers@mabscancerfoundation.com or call into MABS Respite Home, Avenida de Los Covachos 278, Camposol B4.
