Charity quiz and raffle
On 20th April, The Diner & Bar raised 200€ from their charity quiz and raffle in aid of MABS. So a thank you to all who helped to raise the money as well as Jay Leatherland and his team for organising, and for their hard work.
Salud Golf Society
Salud Golf Society from Bar Salud took part in the Captain’s Charity Day and with local businesses sponsoring holes, a raffle and an auction, raised an amazing 2,113€ for MABS! So a big thank you to all who contributed.
Ascot Ladies Day
Thursday 16th June at Mazarrón Country Club, 2pm. Cava reception/afternoon tea. Music by Jose Bolero, followed by a fashion show with an array of stalls with dresses and gowns to browse. Tickets 15.50€ available from the Respite Home, Camposol Sector B or call 689 052 123.
IRONMAN (WOMAN) CHALLENGE
On 10th July, Karen Andrew will be taking part in the gruelling Ironman Challenge to raise money for MABS.
3.8Km open water swim followed by a 180Km cycle ride and finally (as if that wasn’t enough!) a 42.2Km marathon run. Sponsorship forms available at MABS Respite Home, Avenida de Los Covachos 278 if you would like to sponsor Karen in this enormous challenge or you can donate at:

A big thank you to everyone that makes it possible for us to help those that need it – all who have donated furniture, bric-a-brac, clothes etc. And especially to all our volunteers giving up their time (and for van workers sometimes blood and sweat) to ensure we can continue.

How you can help:
Volunteers – We always need more hands (as it were) to help out in various roles, so if you can spare a few hours and would like to help we would love to see you. It`s very rewarding work and makes a huge difference to those that need our help.
- Shop workers – various roles in our shop in Totana from ‘front of house’ to sorting donations. Car share available from Camposol B lower car park
- Reception work at the Respite Home
- Manning the Helpline (rota basis)
- Patient drivers – driving patients to their appointments (out of pocket expenses paid)
