27 members and guests played the excellent course at Aguilon. There can’t be a better maintained course in the area!
Before being allowed to play, we had to give a play-list of members including email addresses and contact phone numbers. It was nice to see that some are taking the ‘track and trace’ seriously. Masks were the order of the day on the terrace, in the pro shop and cafeteria.

Following a coffee and bacon baguette, play commenced. Individual Stableford was the order of the day, with a Drawn Pair’ Prize also added.
Division One winner with 33 points was Cameron Dickie.
Also with 33 points was Division Two winner Peter Kirke, both winning a presentation whisky and glass set, plus a sleeve of Titliest balls.

Nearest the Pin winners, all receiving a sleeve of Titliest balls were: Neil Macfarlane, Roy Quigley, Dave Hudson, Gerry McRobert and Graham Booth, after his tee shot hit the pin and stopped for a tap in Birdie. Quiggers checked his wallet and thought on what might have been a very expensive Eagle!
Our winning guest was Rob Greatly with 37 points. 3 of our guests joined the society and we welcome them.
Back in The Club House players enjoyed a burger, chips and beer, courtesy of a society subsidy.

Cameron Dickie.
Our next outing is to a new venue for us; New Sierra Golf, a long and testing 9 holer, so the plan is to switch tees for the second nine. Green fee and shared buggy only €35.
New members and guests are always welcome to join us.
As usual we thank our main sponsors Decklid Autos.
