Desert Springs Match Report
Los Reyes ventured further afield to Desert Springs for their April fixture and the match was played in very sunny weather which was a pleasant change after all the rain.
The course was in excellent condition but harder than we are used to with very tight fairways, and this was reflected in the scores. But the majority of members want to face the challenge again with course knowledge in the bank.
The winner of division 1 was Malcolm Archibald with 30 points closely followed with 29 points by Mark Palmer and Rob Greatley. Dave Gautier won division 2 with 24 points with Karen Jones, Paul Western and Mick Shea on 22 points. But the best overall score of 34 was achieved by a guest, a youthful Kyle Nicholson.

Nearest the pin winners on the par 3s were Mark Palmer (2nd and 14th ), Gerry McRobert (8th) and Kevin Jones (17th).
