Roda Match Report
Our June fixture was held at the lovely Roda course. The course was in excellent condition and the weather was very hot and humid. Despite the very humid conditions, scoring was very good with nine players on 30 points or more.
With an excellent round and score of 38 points, Mark Palmer won Division 1, closely followed by David Hudson and Colin Walters on 34 points.
In Division 2, Peter Kirke won with an excellent score of 36 points, scoring 23 of those points on the back nine. Ian Murphy had a very good round scoring 33 points.
Nearest the Pin winners on the par 3’s were David Hudson (2nd), Dave Hall (7th), Dave May (11th) and Karen Jones (13th).
The Two’s Pot was shared by Gavin Elbourne, Neil MacFarlane and David Hudson (twice).
