Once again, Los Cánovas Players (Teatro Canovero) bring you something just that bit different. This time, it’s a light-hearted look inside a radio broadcast studio.

The comedy, “Wireless!”, devised by Ian Askew and featuring two radio plays, “Must Be Toddling Along”, by Albert Jeanes, and “The Neville Report, Village Of Fear” by Gary Diamond, John Fryer & Ray Lawrence, will be presented at the Los Cánovas theatre on Thursday 11th, Friday 12th and Saturday 13th May. Curtain up will be at 8pm on each performance night and a bar will be available before, during the interval and after the performance. The theatre will be signposted from the traffic lights in Los Cánovas and there is ample parking.

In “Must Be Toddling Along”, Reg and his family are visiting their friends Len and Pat. However, the weather is getting bad and Reg wants to make an early night of it and get home. Events conspire against him, though, with hilarious results!

“The Neville Report, Village Of Fear” features Neville Reville, Ace Reporter and his investigation of the murder, or should that be the murders, of his employer, Sir Rufus Goodfellow. In the course of his investigations, he comes across such characters as Harry the Leg (literally) and Eric, who is just 3 diseases short of a plague. Mayhem ensues and, we ask, will Neville prevail?
