A magical mix makes Los Belones not just a good investment, but a great town too.

Los Belones is a working village, although with recent growth and future plans it should really be considered as a small town. In the last few years the number of businesses has boomed and Los Belones now boasts some of the best restaurants and eating establishments in the area. With La Manga Club literally 5 minutes away – and the closest village to it, it has become increasingly popular with the tourist trade and has flourished in recent years.

Los Belones – A Sought After, Mulitcultural Heaven

Gone are the dusty streets in this once quiet village and in its place is a bustling and sought after location for shops, businesses and people. You will find an immaculate mix of cultures and nationalities, with the townsfolk of Los Belones greeting you with a warmth you can fully appreciate, very rarely do you find such a good balance in such a great location.

A Priveleged Location

From Los Belones you have the best access to the Mediterranean on two sides and the beautifully therapeutic, calm and shallow waters of the Mar Menor. There are so many beaches you will find it difficult to choose which one is best to go to, the golden sands of Calblanque, the whiter sands of the Mediterranean or the child-friendly Mar Menor. It is 20 minutes to the Historical City of Cartagena, which boasts culture, history and great shopping such as El Corte Ingles and the new shopping centre Espacio Mediterranio. Murcia airport at San Javier is also only 20 minutes away and soon to be added, almost equidistant, is Corvera airport (due to open in 2010). La Manga Club, Mar de Cristal and La Manga del Mar Menor, (La Manga Strip), are just a stones throw away, giving you the best access to the best places. Cabo de Palos, which is 5 minutes away, is an incredibly attractive fishing village with a harbour scattered with delicious seafood restaurants; it also has an excellent Sunday market and some gorgeous beaches.

You will find people travel hours from their hot & stifling city homes to this part of Spain in the summer, to enjoy the breezes from the sea and the refreshing waters. Many Spanish people own second houses in the area and will think nothing to spending 5 hours in the car just to be here – you can’t get a better recommendation than that.

The Future of Los Belones

The plans are underway for a large shopping mall to be built along with a large selection of new build and investment properties, with many people waiting with baited breath for more details on both.

Los Belones is an upwardly moving village/town and it is a savvy investment area as the growth has not yet been fully appreciated. Its future is moving in the right direction and yet the historical culture remains in tact and, best of all, it’s a great place to live in.
