Following a rather wet beginning to the month of June, Monday 14th was a perfectly dry but very hot day for Los Amigos GS playing one of the most popular courses in the locality. Yes, we were back at Aguilón; a course that is absolutely picturesque and a delight to play.

The format for the day was a 2, 3, 4 Waltz with teams of four competing for the prizes. Once again, the course was in pristine condition although the greens were rather difficult to read. With temperatures of 35 degrees, even the light breeze failed to keep us a little cooler as we waltzed around the course.

Results:

Another excellent day with everybody enjoying the course even in the hot conditions. It was certainly an excellent day for Nigel Harding. Not only was he in the winning team, but he also won a Nearest the Pin prize for the first time. No doubt he will always remember Hole 8. Well done, Nigel!

Our next competition is at Roda on Monday 5th July.
