On Monday 1st July, Los Amigos GS were on their way to Lo Romero. Finding the course can be a little traumatic, especially when you can see where you need to be, but find it a bit difficult to get there. However, we all made it in a timely manner and settled down to a calming cup of coffee before venturing out on the course.
What can be said about Lo Romero? Well, the guys who played answered that question quite easily with comments such as; Brilliant course! Fantastic! and When are we coming back? All the buggies have recently been replaced with brand new models with electronic scorecards and GPS, which works a treat.
The course condition was immaculate and much credit must go to the course staff.
The format for our competition was an Individual Stableford and with the course in such good condition it augured well for a good game of golf.
Once again, the Camposol Club de Golf was the venue for our Presentation Evening where our Captain, Les Jales presented prizes to the winners.

2nd with 34 points – Martin Hill
3rd with 30 points – Dave Davidson (on count back)
Division 2
1st with 33 points – Dave Lynch
2nd with 33 points – Ray Stroud (on count back)
3rd with 27 points – Daryl Whitham
