Ladies’ Chatterbox meet every 2nd Thursday of the month at 2pm in the Cultural Centre, Camposol B. New members will always be made welcome. Do come and join us.
In a change to our published programme, at our 8th March meeting we will be holding our AGM, which will consist of the Treasurer’s report and will be closely followed by our guest speaker Johnny Hughes, who will tell us about the benefits of Medicinal Cannabis Oil.
Popping into our meeting is also Antonio to give us some information on the sights of Sevilla and Cordoba, particularly for those going on the trip in May.
There is still room on the coach for anyone wishing to book for the above trip. Call Sally on 665 192 596 or come to our March meeting. This is a 3 day/2 night visit to Sevilla, leaving Camposol on Tuesday 22nd May, staying in the Hotel Ribera de Triana in Sevilla on half board. The full cost of the trip including coach, hotel, insurance and guided by Antonio is 245€, (single room supplement 50€).
On Thursday 24th, we will visit Cordoba on our way home.
We will also be taking bookings in March for a day trip to Garrucha market, where our ladies have never failed to find bargains in the past, followed by lunch at a restaurant in Bedar, which is highly recommended by those on a previous visit. The coach will be leaving the lower car park on Camposol B at 9am on Friday 20th April. We will be returning to Camposol at about 5.30pm. The cost will be 20€ and 22€ for non-members.
Looking ahead, we are getting crafty at our 12th April meeting with a demonstration of candle making by ‘Scentyments Candles’ with the opportunity for some to try their hand at the craft.
The May 10th meeting will be one of ‘home grown entertainment’, when we are looking for members who have had an unusual and interesting job in the past and could say a few words about it, so there is plenty of time to think about this one!
We are hoping that by the time we reach our March meeting, the weather will have improved and all our colds and flu will be history.
