Catch up time; Christmas and New Year well and truly over and looking forward to St Valentine’s Day, then hopefully Spring!
12th December 2019 saw our fabulous Christmas Lunch at the Amapola Restaurant. We had pre-lunch drinks in the sunshine, a wonderful lunch followed by dancing to burn off the calories!!

Specialist hampers prepared by generous donations were given to MABS, Age Concern and FAST with committee members in attendance.
9th January saw our first meeting of the New Year.
We listened to a fascinating talk given by Susan and Nick, former croupiers, who worked both in the UK and abroad, working in high-end casinos and on board cruise ships in exotic parts of the world. An example of a big win – one customer lost 11million pounds, but earned 11million pounds per 3mins, so it did not take long to recoup losses! They both said how disciplined the industry was (1970’s-1990’s). Their uniform was evening dress. Lots of famous music and film stars played the tables and both ladies said that they were almost all very pleasant people. We were told some other interesting snippets but……secret ones! Huge thanks to Susan and Nick for a fabulously entertaining afternoon.
16th January – La Zenia Shopping Trip is SOLD out.
We look forward to shopping ‘til we drop!
13th February – Visit by representatives of Premier Health and Helping Hands. 2pm-4pm at the Social Centre, Camposol B.
20th February – Post-Christmas Lunch at the Golf Club.
Tickets 17.50€ – 4 course lunch with Rat Pack type entertainment.
23rd February – Coffee Afternoon at the Social Centre, Camposol B 2pm-4pm or look at Facebook.
