I hope you are all doing well.
Do you think 2023 is progressing at a rate of knots? Easter is just around the corner – it only seems a short while ago we were wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
At our second monthly meeting, we have a speaker to come along and tell us about the things they do, whether as a volunteer or as an employee or employer. They will be explaining why they moved to Spain, what they have been involved with previously and anything else they feel may be on interest to us. Recent speakers were Richard and Jill Moss from the Camposol Community Shopping Bag, which is run by a group of volunteers who provide free food products and essential everyday items for those who find themselves in financial difficulties for whatever the reason. This is a completely confidential service to any Camposol Resident who is in need. Currently 21 adults and 7 children of different nationalities are being supported.

As a group, Chatterbox ladies enjoy days out, lunches, guest speakers and raffles to name some of the events held. We are not a charity. However, due to funds raised – following payment – for each event, we are able to donate to local charities.
Friday 21st April – Garrucha market and lunch in Bedar.
Thursday 27th April – Brilliant guest speaker – Joe from Just Joe’s Hair and Beauty in Bolnuevo. He should be fabulous.
With nicer weather on the horizon, we have some fabulous trips planned. We are starting with a round of Crazy Golf at Golf Delux near Los Alcázares!! This should be a fun-packed day with lots of laughing and you never know, a few holes in one! Will let you know how it went next month.
