Hello everyone – hope you are all keeping well, longer light hours now – how lovely, I know we lost an hour’s sleep but the rewards are fantastic, spending more time outside doing things we love, getting out and about – walking the dogs, meeting friends, starting all those jobs we had been putting off and generally feeling good.
We had an amazing Chatterbox meeting on 10 March 2022, Rachael – the Flower Girl came along and told us about her passion for all things floral, how she started by clearing her garden of boulders and rubble, then growing all varieties of flowers. During COVID she gave flowers to local residents and noticing how this small token made them feel so happy her business began.
Rachael brought a number of bouquets along and told us how to look after our flowers , using bleach and sugar to prolong life and remembering to diagonally cut stems. Our Cultural Centre was full of heady floral perfumes and a lot of very happy ladies. Thank you Rachael.

To round off this season of Chatterbox we are starting plans for our Summer Celebration and at present the 16th June 2022 is looking to be the date. As soon as we have more details we will let you know.
