The Paseo del Puerto beach will host the ‘I International Mixed Beach Soccer Tournament’, organized by the Mazarrón Féminas F.C with the collaboration of the Sports Department of the Mazarrón City Council, and which will be held on July 17 and 18. Francisco José García, mayor of Sports, together with the organizers of the event, Belén Hernández and Eva Vizcaíno, have explained all the details of the tournament.

Belén Hernández expressed that “the objective of this tournament is to give visibility to women’s football and gender equality in society, through the culture of sports.” An objective that will be marked with the composition of mixed teams that will compete in the event, as well as activities such as talks against bulling or about LGTBI inclusion in sport.

Likewise, Eva Vizcaíno encouraged “all those interested to be encouraged to participate in an event that will be unique. And to the families who want to come and see it since, in addition to the beach soccer matches, we will have several activities that will be carried out by the Red Youth Cross on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ”.
The categories that may participate range from Pre-benjamín to Juvenil.
