The sun is shining and yet it’s easy to forget just how lucky we all are living in such a lovely place. However for some of the abandoned, neglected and forgotten dogs in this area, every day is a struggle to survive, to be noticed and to be saved.
Hope for Dogs Murcia, HDM, is trying to make that difference and with the support of the local community, over 50 dogs have been able to walk a different path from the one they were on. As a non-profit-making organisation, we rely entirely on donations and fundraisers to be able to continue the work we are doing.
The recent ‘Official Launch Night’ at 62 Corvera was a great success with music and humour by Robbie James, an Auction of exclusive prizes, good food and wine. The event raised over 1,000€ for the dogs. A massive thank you to everyone who attended on the night or donated money and items to be auctioned.
This is Kevin and surprisingly this is the second appeal for this very friendly boy of about 11kilos. He is approx 10 months old, but still looking for his forever home! How can you resist that face? All he wants to do is please. He is currently in foster on Camposol with two other dogs that he gets on with very well.
This is Angus, a beautiful young brindle Mastin boy, approx 9-10 months old. He was found on a Golf Resort then taken into our care. He is friendly, walks nicely on the lead and just needs a loving owner and a comfortable bed.
