Well, another month of ups and downs, disappointments and celebrations. Happily we saw six of our rescues off to their new forever homes with loving families. Those moments are always emotional; a mixture of joy and happy sadness, but also of pride in knowing that these furbabies will be enjoying much happier lives.
Being forced to cancel one of our magnificent fundraisers, we were able to replace that show with a Double Bill on 3rd October featuring firstly a vocally superb Tribute To Cher by Kerry Carlton. That was followed by an amazing show Ghost, again featuring Kerry who was joined by Curtis Senior who displayed his jaw dropping guitar skills. It was certainly an evening we were proud to present.
Our final three events for 2020 (COVID willing) will bring much-needed life to our supporters in the form of Abba Elite, the superb vocals of Andy Wood (Benidorm Tom) bringing TWO shows; one of course his amazing Tom Jones Tribute but also his new Voices Show. Both are top quality and not to be missed!
Finally, the long awaited return of Chess with their unrivalled Queen Forever comes to us on 12th December. Tickets for this show were sold out within 3 days which says it all I think! However, we have now created a reserve list for those wanting tickets and should some ticket reservations not be fulfilled, we will offer them to those on the list. In addition, a return show has been discussed with Chess and again tickets will be prioritised for those waiting. Please call 634 456 701 to be added to the list.
We must emphasise that all of our fundraisers have the utmost safety checks and COVID regulations adhered to.
We have three temperature monitors checking guests on arrival. Sanitiser sprays are located at entry point and on every table. Normally accommodating ten guests, we seat just six per table and all spacing regulations are adhered to.
