Our game for January was on the 26th and was to one of our favourite courses at Altorreal in Murcia. We were back to our usual Stapleford format and although the temperatures were a bit low, we had 37 players ready to play this course.
Gerry McRobert won Division One with 31 points with Ken Blakeman very close behind with his score of 30 points.
In Division Two, Richard Dixon took the winner‘s prize with 28 points while in second place was Roy Alderslade also with 28 points – the matter decided on countback.
Meanwhile in Division Three Dave Hall was ahead of the rest with 22 points with Clive Hathaway in the Runner-Up spot with 20 points.
Nearest the Pin winners were; Roger Olorenshaw, Mick Daly, Malcolm Archibald and Brian Hills, but the Twos Money Pot was rolled over to the next game.
