The Fuente Old Guard game for August, on a very warm day, was the Chris Andrews‘ Memorial event which was held at Hacienda Riquelme Golf near Balsicas on the 27th.
The format was a Four Ball Texas Scramble
Competition with the teams drawn at random. The competition was kindly sponsored by Graeme Wilson of Golden Leaves International.
The competition winning team was Ian Stewart, Dave Perry, Graham Boyd and Phil Atkinson with a net score of 63.2, followed by the runners-up team with 67.7 scored.
Nearest the Pin winners were Neil MacFarlane, Clive Hatherway and Phil Atkinson with no Two‘s Competition this month.
