Our game for September was at the excellent course of Aguilon Golf Resort on Monday 28th and 36 members and guests made the journey down to enjoy the views of Pulpi Bay on a sunny day whilst playing golf.
Winner of Division Three
The overall scoring was high and none more so than Phil Atkinson who came in with 41 points as Overall Winner and also winner of Division Two, earning himself a well-deserved 3 point cut to his handicap. Runner-up in Division Two was Richard Dixon with 34 points, while in Division Three Peter Kirke took top spot with 27 points, closely followed in second place by Mike Hodgson with 26 points.

Meanwhile, up in Division One, Kevin Jones took top prize with 35 points just ahead of Ian Stewart in second place with 34 points on his scorecard.
Nearest the Pin winners were: Mick Shea, Karen Jones, Gary Ahern, Ian Stewart and Paul Western, but nobody was able to claim the Two‘s Money prize.
Our annual Matchplay semi-finals were played out with Malcolm Archibald and Ken Blakeman moving on to the finals which were held in October at Lorca.
