Our game for January was on the 30th and 36 players from Fuente Old Guard made the annual trip to Roda Golf Resort and just for a change we were treated to a warm sunny day and with the course up to its usual high standard.
All was well and while the scoring was not excessivly high, there were several players with above-average scores and Dave Davidson showed the way in Division Two with his score of 36 points. Second in this division, but only on countback, was Phil Atkinson also with 36 points.
In Division One, Neil MacFarlane was ahead of the rest with 31 points with Kevin Jones in second place with 28 points.
Meanwhile in Division Three Peter Kirke took top spot with 32 points followed by Andy Paul as runner-up with 28 points.
Nearest the Pin winners were Trevor Nicholaidis, Ian Dalley, Richard Dixon and Dave Davidson with no Two‘s Pot winners.
Also presented this month by FOGGS was a donation of 100€ to FAST and also 100€ to the Forget Me Not charity.
