Thursday May 30th was the day for our annual Captain‘s Day outing and was held at Camposol Golf for the first time in our thirteen year history.
Complimentary coffee was available on arrival for the 40 players and Captain Kevin Jones was on hand to present each player with a sleeve of Callaway golf balls as his Captain‘s Day gift.
Following the game, the players and their guests assembled in The Club House bar for an excellent two course carvery and the prize presentations.
Our Overall Winner and winner of Division Two, on countback, was Paul Davis with 36 points with Phil Leeming as Runner-Up in Division Two also with 36 points.
In Division One Gerry McRobert was in top spot and second overall with 36 points with Chris Morris in second place with 31 points off a scratch handicap.
Meanwhile in Division Three, Andy Paul was ahead of the rest with 29 points, closely followed by Derek Hayward with his points score of 28.
Nearest the Pin winners were: Peter Kirke, Andy Paul, Dave Mitchell and Paul Western with Paul Sharing the Two‘s Money pot with Gerry.
