Our outing for December was to the very local course of Condado De Alhama and was our annual challenge match with our friends of Los Reyes Golf Society.
This was always going to be a close-run encounter, but on this occasion it was FOGGS who took the challenge trophy by a 20 point margin and will look forward to defending the winners‘ title next year.
The Four Ball Competition was won by Wayne Griffiths, Christine Marshall, Alan Benton and Roy Quigley, with a score of 111 points. They were just ahead of the second placed group with 99 points.
The FOGGS divisional winners were Wayne with 34 points, Maurice Nafzger also with 34 points and Christine with 30 points.
Nearest the Pin prizes were won by Maurice, Gerry McRobert, Steve Martindale, Gary Aherne and Harry Pearson.
Our next game is at Hacienda Del Alamo on February 28th.
