Our game for February was held on the 28th at the long and testing course of Hacienda Del Alamo. The weather was warm and calm and the course was found to be much improved since our previous visit last year.
The presentations were held at the Spaniards Inn and conducted by our President Jim Kinniburgh and Vice Captain Dave Perry.
The ideal conditions were well suited for Gerry McRobert who came in with 41 points on his score card, having made 10 pars out of the 18, with no blobs and a round total of 80. Gerry was in first place overall and winner of Division One with Martin Hill in second place overall in Division One with 34 points.
In Division Two, Paul Western took the first prize with 28 points, but only on countback from Roger Olorenshaw in second place, also with 28 points.
Meanwhile, in Division Three, Dave May was in first place with 23 points, but again, only on countback from Roger Joy and Dave Hall with the same scores.
Nearest the Pins were won by Gerry McRobert, Trevor Nicholiadis, Cameron Dickie and Mike Anker with Mike also making a two to win the Two‘s Money Pot.
