Unfortunately just when we thought things were getting better, new COVID-19 regulations about the size of groups meeting together were introduced. Luckily we were still safely able to put on our musical events, but at drastically reduced numbers. This has not affected the enthusiasm of our fabulous supporters.

Steve Fisher was fabulous as Rod Stewart, ably supported by our great friend Magenta Slipperz. Bazz Norton, accompanied by his wife, also gave his usual stunning performance. All of our events are taking place at the wonderful Zambucca Beach Club with beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea making it a super venue. Because of the restricted numbers you have to be quick to grab a ticket.

Our Online Market continues to be a great success with the sale of many new or as new items at bargain prices. We also trialled a Mini Market in the foyer of The Food Co selling jewellery, books and clothing accessories. This was a fabulous success, not just in terms of fund raising, but it gave us a chance to raise the profile of the charity. Our next Mini Market will be on 3rd October. Thank you to all the team at The Food Co.

We are still working hard to rescue and help animals in our area, as we are asked for help endlessly to assist in homing or financing animals in need.
Four of our dogs made the journey to the Animal Hotel in Águilas where they await their final journey to their new families in the UK. We wish Moreno, Hartley, Sonny and Devon the best of luck. Other dogs are following in their footsteps at the end of the month.

More Galgos were delivered to Sandy and John at Galgos de Almeria, including our beautiful sisters Bianca and Julia.

Our gorgeous Beethoven needed to have an eye removed and he was castrated at the same time. Thank you to everyone who contributed to his veterinary costs.

We continue to support people who wish to help their local feral cat population by introducing a TNR scheme. We have also helped home many cats and kittens that have been found abandoned and are domesticated enough to settle into a family home.

Read all about our success stories on our Facebook page where you can also find our adoption album, future events and updates on FMA. We would like to thank everyone who supports us and our fosterers especially need a mention. Please keep liking and following our page.

Don’t forget to tune into our 100 Club Draw every Friday night starring our wonderful president Fred. Numbers are still available!

Unfortunately the two dogs that managed to escape from their foster homes are still missing. Please keep an eye out for Bess, who was lost on Camposol and Heidi who is near the ITV station in Mazarrón. She has been seen regularly and it is just a matter of trying to catch her!
