The FMA team would like to wish everyone a very happy Easter. As the Covid restrictions start to ease April sees the reintroduction of our ever-popular musical events, which are always well supported by all our friends and followers. Our first event takes place at Bar Buenavista El Alamillo on Saturday the 9th of April and features a fabulous tribute band. Called De Polis they play all the hits of, yes you guessed it, the Police. Their hit Don’t Stand So Close To Me, being quite relevant in these days and times! From Murcia, this band is highly rated and extremely popular. Later on in the month on Wednesday the 27th we have another fabulous tribute singer from the UK. Singing songs written and made famous by the fabulous Adele, this musical event will be taking place at Zambuca Restaurant and Bar situated on the marina and is one not to be missed. Our final musical event on Saturday April 30th will get everyone dancing in the aisles. Don your pork pie hat and get moving to the rock steady beat of Ska and 2 Tone. The incredibly popular All Skas will sell out quickly so be quick to book your tickets. Further details of all these musical events can be found on our Facebookpage.
As well as musical events we have our usual pop-up market on Saturday April 23rd in the car park at the Food Company (Tesco). Consisting of all our usual stalls this is a mini market with bargains galore and should not be missed.
Finally, we would like to apologise for having to cancel our charity dog walk last month. We are hoping to reschedule this fundraiser for Sunday, April 24 but we have still to finalise the details. When we have further information, it will be shared and posted to our Facebook page.
We are also looking to reintroduce the FMA pop up tea parties. If you’d like to have a tea party but don’t have the time to organise it then the FMA Pop up Tea Party is the answer to your prayers. Invite friends and neighbours for afternoon tea in the comfort of your home or garden without the hassle. We provide the food, drink, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Fundraise for FMA without the washing up and hassle. Contact us if you would like to be the hostess with the mostess!
