Forget Me Not meets at the Social Centre, Camposol B every Monday morning from 10.30am-1.30pm. Our aim is to offer free respite care for carers of loved ones with Alzheimer’s/Dementia, or any other long term illness. Why not pop along and meet us on any Monday morning for a cup of tea and an informal chat? We will be happy to welcome you.
During our Monday meetings we will hold a stall at the rear of the Community Centre with Books, CDs, DVDs (all at 20 cents) and a clothing sale.
We encourage carers to enjoy some time to themselves knowing that the person that they care for is in capable and qualified hands. Our service is free thanks to the generosity of many local individuals and groups that have donated and raised funds for Forget Me Not over the years. We thank everyone who has donated in any way to this small but essential help group.
Jumble Sales
These take place on the first Saturday of each month at the Social Centre, Camposol B. We looking forward to seeing you on Saturday 7th September from 10.15am-12-30pm.
Our client numbers are always growing and we are in need of more volunteers. No experience is necessary: just an understanding of dementia, empathy and a smile. We have fully qualified nurses to chat to you and give you support.
